They are mainly on the Business Catalyst platform or on WordPress. For more information about me, please have a look at my Profile page. Lately I have been working on some internal projects for clients so unfortunately there is not a lot of new stuff to show.

Project Brief: A basic corporate website on a platform that allows future growth for the business.

I built the structure of the site, organised the flow of information, built custom Business Catalyst Web Apps for Clients and People and project managed the whole project.

Design: Basic BC Template / External Consultant

Project Brief: A site for user generated content to be uploaded by contributors and then used, commented on and favourited by users.

I built the custom Business Catalyst Web Application to handle the User Generated Content, Favoriting and Commenting on Reports. The Web App had to integrate with the on-line report server, so as a team we had to work through all the technical issues with the link between the two systems. I also project managed the whole project.

Project Brief: The client wanted an integrated platform that included all aspects of running an online Web business. Business Catalyst is a great platform for this type of business. This project was a whole revamp of the client’s online business, integrating various diparate services into the one platform. The end result is a huge success and the new web presence has resulted in a significant increase in sales of the Nomads Notes software product.

Project Brief: The client was an existing business catalyst user and wanted a fresh new look for their site. They loved business catalyst as an integrated platform for all aspects of running their web presence for their customer focused business. Business Catalyst is a great platform for this type of business.

Livingstone Road Animal Health Centre

Platform: WordPress

Design: Arthemia Premium Theme / CSS Tweaks by me. Banner image by an external Designer.

Project Brief: A bright and cheerful web presence for the clinic with lots of cute animal photos and videos. WordPress is an ideal platform for a small business like this as it is so easy for non IT people to manage themselves. The Arthemia Premium theme is a Magazine style theme that allows for featured content to be prominently positioned, lots of static content, and pictures on every post to provide great visual appeal to the website. The client loves their new site.

Bossy Breeches USA

Platform: Worpress

Design: Modularity Lite Theme heavliy customised and coded by me. Logo by an external Designer.

Plugins: Shopp E-Commerce Plugin, Store Locator plugin

Project Brief: A basic Web Presence and E-Commerce site for a young business, with room for future growth.

Based on the great looking logo and a simple design brief from the client I was able to create a simple, yet great looking site, with full E-Commerce functionality, static pages, a blog, a Store Locator page and links to social media sites.

Personal Style

Design: Vigilance Theme (same as this site) – a standard WordPress.com theme. Logo by an external Designer.

Project Brief: Jan needed a very basic web presence as she is now semi retired and was paying a significant amount of money for web hosting. I simplified her web presence using free tools such as WordPress.com for your domain and Picassa Web Albums. Overall the site looks good and will only cost US$12 per year to maintain.
